Lake & Zephyr conducts cruises through the backwaters of southern Kerala, starting from Alappuzha, the base of operations. Tourists can choose any circuit out of many in the backwater region.
One usual package is a one-day (22 hours) cruise in the Vembanadu lake, starting from Alappuzha town and proceeding through Punnamada lake, and visiting interesting places in the Vembanad Lake like Paathiramanal, Kumarakom bird sanctuary, etc. covering a distance of more than 100 km.

On your arrival at Cochin International Airport/Ernakulum Railway Stations meet our executives there. Later drive to Alleppey the soul of Kerala's Natural beauty lies here. A perfect rural place is bounded with large water bodies named as Venice of the East. You can check in your house boat at 11 am and later explore the back water villages and serene beauty on board. Enjoy the tasty cuisines in a homely atmosphere. Evening you can walk around the villages and overnight stay onboard.
Day 2 Alleppey-Cochin
Today, wake up to the freshness of virgin Nature. Enjoy a morning ride and have your breakfast. Check out the houseboat at 9 am and later drive towards Cochin for return drop off/ you can go for a city sightseeing at Cochin Includes Marine drive and nearby places for shopping.
